Note |
Posumbu knotweed is a common name in English for some Polygonaceae species. Posumbu knotweed is not a synonym of Persicaria posumbu (Buchanan-Hamilton ex D. Don) H. Gross. In many cases, Posumbu knotweed means Persicaria longiseta (De Bruijn) Kitagawa (syn. Polygonum blumei (Meisner ex Miquel) H. Gross). Due to this, legal validity of any patent
which use the name of Posumbu knotweed without any correct scientific name may be debatable and doubtful. |
